The Central Florida Sports Turf Managers Association conducted its Summer Chapter meeting at Orange County Parks & Recreation June 1, 2016 at Barnett Park. The 70 attendees were treated to a two hours of classroom training. One introducing the advantages of a new cultural process sweeping the sports turf industry in the US – Universal Fraze Mowing and the second hour devoted to promoting turf growth on newly installed turf and existing turf utilizing fertilizer application based on the types of soil structures and soil analysis. After lunch provided by Harrell’s Fertilizer the group was treated to a Fraze mowing demo conducted by JSM Services.
